re;file labs is an independent engineering project focused on building privacy-first file tools that run directly in your browser - fast, transparent, and serverless.

We use WebAssembly (WASM) and modern web technologies to make complex file operations — like image conversion, metadata editing, and PDF manipulation - run entirely on your device. Your files never leave your computer.

The idea behind re;file labs started with a simple frustration:

“Why should converting or compressing a file require uploading it to someone else’s server?”

From that question grew a platform dedicated to client-side computing - bringing desktop-level performance and privacy to the web.

Every tool we release is designed to be:
